To float upon a warm spring breeze, To feel that weakness in my knees... breathing in the fresh spring air where I wind up I do not care, be it in the valley low or atop the mountain high for free and unrestrained am I.
The sun's warm rays light up my face and fill me with a warming grace, and also on that gentle breeze the first of spring, the nightingale who perches merrily upon a tree and sings his midnight song to me. His perch he leaves to join the sky while singing out his praise on high.
